What is ISO/IEC 27001?
ISO 27001 is an international management standard for information security. The standard serves as a governance tool that helps companies protect valuable information – including personal data – in a secure and trustworthy manner. Among other things, it sets requirements for risk management, documentation of processes and a clear allocation of roles and responsibilities for information security.
The purpose of ISO/IEC 27001 is to achieve effective information security management that matches our company's specific needs, and to ensure that this effectiveness is maintained through a process of continuous improvement. This means our information security is constantly updated, enabling us as a company to handle the challenges of a business world in constant change.
GDPR is an integral part of ISO/IEC 27001, and the certification is the most recognised within IT security – and considerably more comprehensive than an audit statement. We are proud to be able to document to both existing and new customers that we take IT security very seriously. With this certification, it is now confirmed by Bureau Veritas, which will also be responsible for the ongoing follow-up on all points going forward.
As a company, HRM Nordic has thus been certified and has documentation that we meet the requirements of the standard.

The certification documents that we work in a structured and systematic way with data security, risk management and GDPR – and that our processes are continuously audited and improved.
HRM Nordic acts as data processor, while your company is the data controller for information processed in the HRM Nordic system.
It is therefore necessary to have a data processing agreement in place between the parties.
