The Pre- & Onboarding module is an add-on to the employee database. This helps to clarify the activities associated with a new appointment, which must be managed before employment.

With the Pre- & Onboarding module, you have the opportunity to create all the desired templates and delegate tasks to employees in the organization.

At the start of employment and the time immediately after, many activities need to be managed so that the person can get off to the best possible start and get started with what they have been looking forward to in the time before.

Onboarding

The Pre- & Onboarding module is an add-on module to the Employee Database, also called master data.

This helps to clarify the activities associated with a new appointment, which must be managed before employment.

Preboarding is about the tasks that must be solved before an employee starts.

It can i.a. be areas such as:

  • Ordering a computer
  • Access Cards / Keys
  • Flowers for the first day
  • Opening relevant programs
  • Notice of welcome meeting
  • Creating Email to the person
  • Creation in the payroll system / HR system

With the Pre- & Onboarding module, you have the opportunity to create all the desired templates and delegate tasks to employees in the organization.

This gives you a great time saving as it has been found that the vast majority of Pre- & onboarding programs contain many of the same elements.

Next to each task, you can choose who is responsible for the task – and how far the process has come (in the example below, 50% of the tasks are solved)

Onboarding is an electronic introductory plan that ensures that you save time – as you can use the template again and again. It is easier to remember all the important elements.

Tasks that are often part of an onboarding process could be 

  • Video or other presentation of the company  
  • Orientation around the department – possibly. an organizational overview
  • Planning the first 2-4 weeks in the introductory program, where a
    presentation of the department takes place, a review of the position,
    and a presentation and review of the assignments

In the Onboarding module, select:    

  • When the task must be solved – date and time.
  • Who is responsible for the task
  • Deadline for the task   
  • Place of the assignment/meeting.
  • Place of the assignment/meeting.

Finally, you send a meeting request to all the people involved (both those who are responsible for the task but also directly to the new employee’s calendar)  

As an administrator, in the same way as with Preboarding, you will have a good overview of the process via HRM-Nordic. “
